Description

[__] slim silver rails run side by side around the finger, each one punched with fine dots along its length, and domed silver beads sit across them in graduated sizes — the largest clustered at the centre of the face, the smallest trailing off toward the shoulders. The rails stay open between the beads, so the ring is lifted and airy rather than a solid dome. The beads are formed and set one at a time, which is why the sizes step rather than repeat: a large dome next to two small ones, then a medium, then a gap. That irregular rhythm is what keeps a repeating design from looking mechanical, and it is the difference between a hand-built piece and a cast one. Oxidation sits in the punched dots and in the shadows between the rails, while the beads themselves are polished bright. The contrast does the work here — the darker the ground, the rounder the beads read. Across the face the ring measures [__] mm and stands [__] mm off the finger, tapering back to [__] mm at the shoulders so the weight stays on top and the underside stays slim. Is this ring solid sterling silver?

Yes — 925 sterling silver throughout: the rails, the beads and the band. There is no plating, no stone and no second metal. The darker tone between the rows is oxidation on the silver itself.

Are the beads solid or hollow?

Will the beads catch on clothing?

Warm water and a soft brush, then dry it fully. Use a dry polishing cloth on the beads themselves whenever you want them brighter.
